This rich full bodied Cabernet entwines aromas of black berries with notes of cinnamon, anise and toasted walnuts. This wine will soak into your palate with rich flavors of black cherry, plum and dark chocolate. It has been compared to a chocolate dipped strawberry more than once! Winemaker Nils Venge’s talents received worldwide notoriety when wine critic Robert Parker Jr. awarded a perfect 100 score to his 1985 Groth Cabernet. (usual retail: $48)
	2006 Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon, Deux Chevaux Vyd Our old vine Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines from the southern block of the Deux Chevaux Vineyard have produced another classic Yountville appellation wine.  Immediately noticeable in the glass are the soaring aromas of creme de cassis, warm saddle leather, slate like minerality and subtle notes of tightly grained French oak.  True to its vintage roots, the palate is powerful and concentrated yet also displays a measure of grace and an amazing mouthfeel.  Blackberry and other briary fruit notes glide across the palate while carrying hints of camphor, dark chocolate, cedar and sandalwood.  While this wine can be enjoyed in it's youth with hearty fare, look for it to hit its stride in three to four years and comfortably age for over a decade.(ususal retail $42)
	2006 Sequioa Grove Cabernet Sauvignon Lamoreaux Vineyard.   Dark red in color with an intoxicating aroma of chocolate-covered cherries and raisins, clove and cinnamon spices. A slight charred character plays with notes of brine and carob. Hints of red roses dance in and out. On the palate the initial taste is round and forward with flavors of charred cranberries coming through on the mid-palate and giving way to a balanced and lengthy finish. (usual retail $75)
