2015 Vina Real Rosado
89pts - Robert Parker & Antonio Galloni
The Wine Advocate - "It was a matter of time until a (very pale) Rosé was produced at the new winery under the popular brand, and so the 2015 Viña Real Rosado is already here, a little bit of an upscale, very pale Rosé (compared with the basic Cune one). It is produced with the unusual (nowadays) blend of 15% Tempranillo and 85% Viura, so a 'clarete' rather than a rosado. In fact, the nose is more Viura than Tempranillo, and I guess with time it will evolve more and more to the characteristics of a white. So it has good freshness and zip, a discrete nose and a tasty finish. 130,000 bottles were filled unoaked."
Vinous / Antonio Galloni - "Bright orange-pink. Strawberry, red currant and tangerine on the nose, backed by a subtle floral nuance. Smooth and open-knit, offering plush red berry and orange pith flavors and a touch of back-end bitterness. Finishes supple and with good length, leaving a sappy red fruit note behind."
