Wine from the Bio Bio Valley

This weekend Touring & Tasting staff had the opportunity to taste a lovely wine from the Bio Bio (pronounced Bee-o Bee-o) Valley in Chile! Warm days and cool nights create a long ripening season, but the Bio Bio Valley has challenging growing conditions because of higher rainfall and strong winds.

We tasted the 2009 Llia Llia Chardonnay, which has been hand-harvested and is single-vineyard designate. It is a light wine with bright fruit flavors of pear and melon. We thoroughly enjoyed this wine, as did Wine Enthusiast which awarded the Llia Llia Chardonnay 89 points!

Want to try this wine? Available HERE for a great deal along with the 2009 Llia Llia Pinot Noir!
