Lunch at Café Europa - Guest Blogger Paul Arganbright

Touring & Tasting's Wine Club President Paul Arganbright stopped for lunch at Café Europa during a recent trip to Palm Springs, and was so impressed he wanted to let you know about it too.

There's lots of good food in/around Palm Springs but I've found nothing to match the fresh, healthy and tasty lunch 4 of us had at Cafe Europa, downtown Palm Springs. I had a wonderful beet and goat cheese salad, very fresh and full of healthy flavor. Others had the BLT with Applewood smoked bacon, local tomatoes and fresh greens; and the grilled cheese dripping with Gruyere on whole wheat. Prices are right with portion choices. A huge plus, too, is the beautiful grassy courtyard setting, like having lunch in the park! Don't miss it.

where they were created in an Italian monastery to resemble the monks' belly buttons. Today, coconut macaroons are a staple dessert in Passover sedars because they contain no flour or leavening. This family recipe is quick and easy to make and can be enjoyed year round. Thanks.
